The website

Working as a tutor and technical consulant for Mike we decided he needed a website to house his writing and give him a place to direct potential clients to. Being a journalist and writer I designed Mike’s site header to feel like a print masthead while also leaning into imagery and textures that fit his industry.

As his blog has grown, we have continued to collaborate on timely adjustments and featured writings.

The logo

Mike needed a consistent way to display his name across his site and social media but didn’t need any particular mark to go along with it. Looking to keep it simple and classy we decided to go with a typographic logo using the font I recommended for his site headers.
